Navigating the legal landscape can be challenging for nonprofits, but having the right resources at your fingertips can make all the difference. The Colorado Nonprofit Association is proud to collaborate with the Colorado Lawyers Committee to offer two unique programs. Our Legal Audit Clinic occurs twice a year while the Pro Bono Match Program runs all-year.
The Nonprofit Legal Audit Clinic is an event, held twice a year, where eligible nonprofit organizations are matched with volunteer attorneys who will conduct a complete review of your organization’s overall legal health. They will review your documents, assess potential problem areas, and address special legal issues for your nonprofit organization. Eligible nonprofit organizations are invited to apply and upon application approval, will be required to submit additional documentation prior to the event.
This is a member-only resource.
An initiative of the Colorado Nonprofit Association and the Colorado Lawyers Committee, the Colorado Nonprofit Pro Bono Legal Match Program effectively matches nonprofits in need of legal assistance with volunteer lawyers who can help. Volunteer lawyers may only assist in transactional-type issues and it could take up to 2 months to be matched with a volunteer lawyer.
