Hiring range: $24.41 – $27.40 DOE (Full salary range up to $27.40 for long-tenured staff currently in position or other exceptional circumstances.)
Summary/Objective: The Warren Village United Airlines Learning Center serves children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old in a comprehensive, high-quality early learning environment. The Learning Center is a Colorado Shines 5 Star quality-recognized center. Teaching teams provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment that fosters the development of the whole child. There is a strong emphasis on teacher training and application of Conscious Discipline®,
an innovative social-emotional learning and classroom management program designed to give teachers the skills they need to address the emotional and
social issues of children. The Administrative Assist does a variety of clerical and office duties, acts as the receptionist at the front desk, provides a layer of security, and supports parents during arrival and departure from the center.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Onboarding and Compliance
Staff Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process by ensuring new teaching staff understand Learning Center (LC) policies and procedures. Track their
progress and communicate follow-up actions to the appropriate administrator under the LC Director’s supervision.
Compliance Management: Maintain complete and compliant staff files by managing a staff file spreadsheet and calendar for compliance requirements. Organize training sessions for medication administration and other necessary areas.
Nurse Consultant Binder: Co-maintain the Nurse Consultant binder, particularly concerning Medication Administration staff training.
Reception and Communication
Welcome and greet visitors, manage sign-in/sign-out procedures, and direct inquiries appropriately. Ensure only authorized clients, vendors, and personnel enter the Center and secure entry doors.
Ensure substitute staff files are current with all necessary training. Check monthly with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) to ensure training requirements are met and notify Director/Assistant Director of any updates. Ensure substitutes understand safety procedures before entering classrooms.
Create and distribute flyers, handouts, calendars, and other documents. Provide clerical support such as filing, copying, and maintaining operational copy machines. Communicate closures and special events to families with advance notice.
Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and documents using Microsoft Office tools.
Mail Handling: Check and distribute center mail daily.
Data Management and Brightwheel Administration
Maintain accurate data for children, families, and staff. Manage ATS/Attendance tracking, create daily attendance logs, and ensure accurate meal planning and staffing.
Ensure accurate parent information, assist parents with app use, and help teachers post classroom information. Manage student transitions in Brightwheel and monitor communication and tasks for compliance.
Maintain staff and child files per CDEC regulations, ensuring documentation is up to date. Purge files as necessary following Learning Center and Warren Village policies.
Print and distribute compliance-related documents, including Records of Meals (ROMS) and head count sheets.
Facilities Support
Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed. Support teachers and administrators during emergency drills.
Assist with daily staffing and scheduling, covering classrooms as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:
· High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
· One year of related experience.
· Early Childhood teacher (ECT) certificate.
· Large Center Director credential
· Willingness to undergo and pass background checks as required by state law.
· Experience using Brightwheel.
Preferred education, knowledge, and/or experience:
· Associate’s degree in early childhood education or a closely related field.
· Conversational and written proficiency Spanish preferred
· Experience with culturally diverse populations, culturally responsive caregiving practices, trauma-informed care, Conscious Discipline, the Creative Curriculum, TSGs, ASQ, ESI, and DECA.
· CPR/First Aid certification
· Ability to clear a TB test.
Work Environment: The working environment is an approximate balance of 50% office work using a personal computer and other office-related
equipment to 50% movement inside and outside the center.
This position frequently communicates with staff, families, children, community support agencies, volunteers, consultants, delivery persons, and the public which requires the ability to exchange accurate information in these situations. Work may involve moderate exposure to
unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. May be exposed to sick or sometimes contagious/ill children and
must therefore be conscious of ensuring the health and safety of the kids, their parents, school personnel and themselves.
Physical Demands: While performing these duties, the employee will occasionally be required to lift to 25 pounds and frequently sit,
stand, walk, bend, and crouch, inside and outside the building.
