Operations Coordinator (Driver)
There With Care is excited to announce a new position based out of our Denver office! The Operations Coordinator (Driver) is responsible for the packing and delivery of family care packages and assisting of the loading of the volunteer vehicles with the items and care packages required to make a delivery. This position is also responsible for the restocking and cleanliness of items for our Colorado locations. This person will provide proactive attention to any items in which we may be running low. This position assists with other tasks including administration, as needed, to support the Operations Team.

Founded in Colorado in 2005, There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services for families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by hospital social workers and build support around them through a community of individuals, volunteers, services, and businesses, who ease their burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care. Our current service locations are Colorado and the Bay Area of California.
The Important Work You’ll Do
Main Responsibilities (80%)
- Drive company vehicles for family deliveries.
- Pick up of donations from agency partners
- Receive and process incoming donations.
- Acts as back up delivery driver to make deliveries to families for all care packages in the event that a volunteer is unavailable to make the delivery.
- Transport items between offsite storage units, the Boulder Pantry, and the Denver Pantry.
Warehouse Responsibilities (15%)
- Load and pack our Care Packages all while ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with Operations team on management of the warehouse, maintaining program inventory quantities, maintaining grocery and produce inventory quantities and other items that require replenishment in the warehouse.
- Check dates and rotate program items when restocking to ensure no expired product is being delivered.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse. Including: labels, bin lids, counter tops, shelving, freezers, and fridge.
- Responsible for weekly, quarterly, and yearly warehouse inventory counts.
- Enter received items into the Inventory System.
- Inventory Management; quarterly and spot checks throughout the year. Responsible for End of Year assessment and counts for spaces.
Administrative Responsibilities (5%)
- Contact families to schedule appropriate delivery times.
- Print packing sheets.
- Primary point of contact for Volunteers doing food vendor pick-ups and food sorting.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Perform the job in alignment with There With Care’s core values.

The Important Skills You’ll Need To Have
- Proficient in MS Office and ability to work in a systems database.
- Strong attention to detail – precision with managing inventory counts in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in an internal and external facing role.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Punctual/timely with schedule supply pick-ups/family deliveries.
- While dealing with the movement of inventory, at times, this job will require physical stamina and strength. You must be able to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Load and unload packages to be delivered (up to 20 lbs.)
- Must have flexibility with schedule as business needs arise.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and have the ability to work in a systems database.
