The Women’s Foundation of Colorado (“WFCO”) is the only statewide community foundation dedicated to advancing gender, racial, and economic equity. Since 1987, we have catalyzed the community to invest in women by investing in our work. Our policy and advocacy efforts impact all 2.85 million Colorado women and girls, and our grantmaking reaches women and girls in all 64 Colorado counties.
WFCO is located on the University of Denver Campus in the Chamber Center for the Advancement of Women. WFCO has over $32 million in assets and has granted out over $9.5 million in the last five years. In 2023, the Foundation reached a momentous milestone whereby all the Foundation’s investable assets 100% align
with its Gender-Lens Investing strategy. Now, every cent of every dollar is invested in the mission, vision, and values.
