About The Weld Trust

The Weld Trust’s (TWT) mission is, “To promote excellence in health and education in Weld County”. It is a health conversion foundation whose beginnings came from the sale of North Colorado Medical Cnter
in Greeley, Colorado in October 2019. TWT exists as a Supporting Organization to the Weld Legacy Foundation (WLF). The two organizations have mirrored Missions and Boards. WLF also does fundraising and funds capacity-building services that benefit health and education causes in Weld County, Colorado. WLF also serves as the fiscal agent for Bright Futures, a workforce development program, initiated by the Weld County Board of County Commissioners to provide financial support to students in Weld County.

Job Summary

The Senior Program Officer – Capacity Building is a newly created role which will work with key grant partners of TWT to build leadership, operational, and programmatic capacity. This position will focus on providing strategic support, guidance, and resources to help these organizations grow, improve effectiveness, and sustain their mission-driven work. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit
management, grantmaking, capacity building, and an understanding of sector-specific challenges and opportunities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A, though the position will be working with nonprofit executives in a coaching capacity.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
