Position: Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Reports to: CEO
Status: Exempt
Hours: 40 hours/week (Denver area preferred)
Travel: Local, regional, and national travel may be required.
Purpose: The Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for leading a team to start new MomCo groups, grow the MomCo brand in churches and oversee effective lead generation and strategic partnerships. This role will drive ministry expansion, lead dynamic teams, and focus on generating growth via new and current channels.
Scope: The Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. This role requires broad leadership skills and perspectives, blending future-focused thinking with an understanding of the organization’s needs. The position is responsible for exceeding goals related to new ministry leads, retention, and sales, through the church engagement team and exceeding revenue sponsorship goals through the corporate relations team.

Lead Generation & Brand Awareness
· Create effective lead generation funnels that supply the organization with a surpluss of good leads.
· Maximize the use of innovative content creation to speak to church leaders and mom leaders.
· Develop a streamlined and automated sales cycle that starts groups at a record pace.
· Report on the ROI of lead generation campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources.
· Gain insights into customer needs and identify opportunities to serve both the mom and church audiences.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create lead funnels, drip campaigns, and automated systems that maximize customer engagement for starting groups.
· Continually update and maintain sales scripts, system emails, and new technologies (e.g., texting) to optimize conversion.
· Work alongside PR and Media to position MomCo as a thought leader in the church and mom space.
Starting New Groups
· Lead, inspire, and develop the church engagement team to exceed ministry growth and retention goals.
· Build and maintain strategic partnerships that create mutually beneficial outcomes and grow the MomCo ministry.
· Strategize and implement multifaceted digital advertising and lead generation strategies to initiate new ministries in church and mom spaces.
· Ensure all church communications are effective and excellent and contribute to increased engagement and conversions.
· Build and manage a growing online funnel for potential church leaders via social media, articles, and digital communications.
· Design and maintain a church care plan to enhance retention and value for U.S. church partners.
Corporate Relations and Strategic Partnership
· Build transformational relationships with strategic partners that advance MomCo ministry goals.
· Exceed sponsorship goals while building value, longevity, and relationships with partners.
· Manage the corporate relations team to surpass goals.
· Expand the current product offerings by seizing new market opportunities.
Senior Leadership Team Responsibilities

Job Qualifications
· Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MomCo Faith and values Statement.
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
· At least five years of marketing experience.
· A minimum of ten years of sales experience.
· At least five years’ supervisory and team building experience and the ability to engage and develop team members.
· Strong skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook.
· A variety of CRM systems experience.
· HubSpot use a plus.
· EOS (entrepreneur operating system) experience preferred.
· Experience in non-profit and for-profit preferred.
· Demonstrated passion for improving processes, systems, and skill levels.
· Thorough understanding of the MomCo ministry and audiences.
· Able to direct strategic, relational, and operational processes.
· Lead and develop staff to achieve results.
