Position Description
Sister-to-Sister: International Network of Professional African American Women, Inc. is seeking a Grant Coordinator to assist with an existing Black Maternal Mental Health Education Program. Sister-to-Sister, Inc. is a Colorado-incorporated, tax-exempt public charity (EIN: 85:1053563) missioned to advance equity in all aspects of Black females’ lives, including health. Position Summary:
Serving under the direction of the project manager, the position is a term-limited, part-time independent contractor position. The incumbent will the coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the program. Current funding is provided by the Black Maternal and Black Maternal Mental Health Education Program, funded by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment through December 31, 2024. Sister-to-Sister, Inc. is seeking funding to support the program for the 2025 calendar year. The individual selected to fill the position will begin work on September 1, 2024.
General Characteristics:
• Serve as the principal liaison Sister-to-Sister, Inc.’s executive/administrative-management team members, community partners, and key stakeholders.
• Compile maintain records on the program’s administration and expenses.
• Utilize project management skills.
• Possess and demonstrate reliability and responsiveness.
• Possess and demonstrate inter-personal acumen.
Essential Functions:
• Possess an effective understanding of health equity and social justice.
• Demonstrate a commitment to integrating the principles and practices into the program.
• Create a project plan for the period engaged.
• Assist with managing a program budget.
• Closely collaborate with the project manager.
• Prepare summary reports.
• When the project manager requests, participate in program-related meetings.
• Conduct research for use in grant applications on racial and ethnic disparities in health and health and other topics.
• Perform other related duties, as required.
Education/Work Experience:
Bachelor of Science or BA Degree in Health, Sociology, or Business, or Nonprofit Management or Master’s Degree in Public Health (preferred)
Two years of Professional Experience (College juniors, seniors, graduate students, and professional fields are welcome to apply).

Work Type: Remote (Onsite presence will be required at the workshops.)
