SafeHouse Denver is seeking an experienced part-time Events Coordinator-Independent Contractor to manage and implement our events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and execute our annual Hope Gala and other agency events in collaboration with event volunteer committees.
Budget Management: Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports in partnership with the Chief Development Officer.
Corporate Sponsorship Procurement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, negotiate terms, and secure financial support/event sponsorships.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistics related to events, including catering, audio-visual requirements, transportation, and other details to ensure seamless execution on event days.
Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the development staff to create and implement event marketing strategies.
Volunteer Management: Train and coordinate volunteers to support event activities.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and provide recommendations for event improvement. Manage thank you calls to donors within one week of the event.
