Live-In Care Coordinator Position – Female Residents

POSITION SUMMARY

Status: Full-time, 30 hours/week

Providence House is a two-year transformational housing program for single men & women recovering from trauma, addiction, mental illness and homelessness. The program operates in an 1890’s mansion in the Capitol Hill area of Denver where you will be part of a team that engages in meaningful ways to foster a culture of family and belonging.

As a Care Coordinator, you will live in the home and be assigned the case management of up to five female residents. This includes mentoring, co-creating goal plans, and holding them accountable so they may heal and grow toward self-sufficiency and whole-life transformation. You will also be assigned certain property and administrative tasks. The position includes some evening and weekend on-duty rotations. All staff are asked to be intentionally present in the community throughout the week, including three evening meals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Assist with intake process of new residents

Serve as an accountability partner for female residents

Serve as on-duty staff person as needed/scheduled

● Help process UA’s and drug tests

● Assist Director in enforcing policies and overseeing Resident house chores

● Engage in community-building activities

● Assist in dealing with resident crisis situations

● Assist with financial and organizational administrative duties, as assigned by Director

● Assist with property and vehicle management and maintenance, as assigned by Director

● Help coordinate volunteer projects, as needed or assigned by Director

● Help maintain current agency resource manual for residents

● Maintain a Ministry of presence by devoting time to building relationships w/ residents and staff

● Attend weekly staff and house meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

● Strong sense of calling to this population

● Emotional and spiritual maturity

● Experience with case management is preferable

● Understanding of addiction, mental illness and the recovery process is beneficial

● Highly values community living

● Ability to initiate meaningful conversation and social interaction

● Appreciation for the importance of positive role modeling

● Comfortable signing Providence Network’s Statement of Faith
