Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Partnerships Manager will be responsible for ensuring partnership engagement including the planning, implementation, management and evaluation of partnerships within and across the Prime Health ecosystem. This includes developing partnership plans, engaging external partners and stakeholders to support and engage with Prime Health Programs, ensuring quality improvement and evaluation is completed across partnerships, managing and implementing partnership focused programs, specifically the Colorado Health Innovation Community (CHIC), and supporting fund development for existing programs and partnership development. The Partnership Manager supports the necessary strategy for improvement and growth of existing partnerships as well as strategy and idea generation for new and different partnerships. Additionally, this position will engage with operations to ensure all partnership needs are accounted for in the organization’s operations in order to ensure efficiency across partnerships, programs, and the organization as a whole.
Essential Functions
PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Develop partnership management and customer management software (e.g. CRM)
- Develop and maintain partnership programs, events, and engagement plans to ensure partnerships align with the mission and values of justice, community, and play
- Support partnership management decisions and effectively communicate them to the team supporting implementation
- Work with Prime Health staff and board members to hold them accountable for using and engaging with the partnership management strategies being implemented
- Monitor partnerships, including delegating and holding partners and team members accountable to follow-up, quality engagement, and timely work
- Support the team in the implementation of events, including encouraging and supporting partnership engagement
- Work with Programs to ensure they are effectively engaging external partners where and when necessary
- Develop partnership activity, program, and event budgets that are in line with available resources
- Manage partnership resources within the budgetary guidelines
- Communicate partnership milestones, successes, and challenges to other staff, internal and external partners
PARTNERSHIP EVALUATION
- Develop evaluation plans for partnerships to ensure they are supporting the intended outcomes and needs of the field and Prime Health
- Align partnership evaluation activities with program and organizational evaluations and milestones
- Design and implement quality improvement processes for partnerships and the partnership needs across the organization
- Celebrate partnership successes when milestones are accomplished and successful
- Follow through on areas of improvement where identified and clearly stated across partners and staff
- Evaluate risks and how to effectively mitigate and manage risks to partnerships and the organization
- Support organizational efficiency by aligning structures across partnerships, programs, and projects

Work Environment
- Typical working hours within 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, US Mountain Time
- Part-time position, 20 hours per week
- Irregularly scheduled travel and meetings required on some evenings and weekends
- Remote work environment with in-person attendance at events required
Qualifications and Characteristics
The Partnerships Manager has experience and passion for maintaining and improving the health system through partnership management, engagement, and evaluation. Helpful qualifications and characteristics include:
- Clear knowledge and understanding of health systems, safety-net, equity, and supporting marginalized community as demonstrated through professional experience such as:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in health systems, partnership management, or event management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in health sector program management
- Experience with digital health and health innovation highly desired
- Experience with public health and safety-net health highly desired
- Demonstrated self-driven and self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to technical detail and accuracy
- Exceptional customer service and partnership engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to present information accurately, effectively, and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team situations
- Fluency in Google Suite (docs, sheets, slides) and the ability to quickly learn other software systems
- Prioritization skills in the face of competing demands
- Strategic thinking, planning, and implementation
- Adaptability and flexibility while also maintaining consistency in compliance and operational requirements
- Collaboration skills across the Prime Health team and across external partners
- Knowledge of and interest in health, safety-net, program management, and equity best practices
