Donor Relations Advisor

Position Salary Range $ 65,155.67 /year – $ 82,537.25 /year

Starting Pay Although our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for this position is $ 65,155.67 /year – $ 73,846.46 /year.

Position Type: Full-time Salaried, Exempt

Remote vs. On-site: 80%/20%. You will be in the office once a week.

(The team also does Flex Fridays after 6 months)

Travel Information: About 80% of your work will be remote however there is an occasional travel component within CO, NM, and NV to meet with Donors and events (depending on Donor’s preference these meetings can be virtual as well).

Success: You will know you are successful when you have built strong relationships with midlevel donors that have resulted in gifts to our organizations, and when you are continuously making new connections with prospective donors.

Snapshot: Your days will be filled with strategic meetings with current and prospective donors, senior development, executive, and program staff, and key volunteers with a focus on elevating current giving and completing solicitations for major gifts in support of PPRM priorities. You may attend meetings and events before and after business hours and may work some evenings and weekends. You will travel throughout our affiliate region occasionally.

Qualifications: You have 2 years of experience in fundraising. You enjoy cultivating relationships with new people and are committed to providing high-level customer service. You are willing and able to travel on occasion and have the ability to work evenings and weekends when needed. You have used fundraising software before and are tech-savvy. If you have used Raiser’s Edge, and/or are bilingual (Spanish) that is a plus.

Primary Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:

Manage Donor Portfolio: You are responsible for managing a portfolio of donors, strategically spending your time focused on renewals and new gifts from donors with the potential to give midlevel gifts ($1,000 – $9,999). You engage in direct solicitation work as well as behind-the-scenes research and preparation that enables effective fundraising. Included in your responsibilities, you will:

Abortion Care: We all work in abortion care, whether it is referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc. In this role, you will generate financial support for PPRM’s programs in support all the work we do including Abortion Care.
