Organization Summary: 

PAX sapiens is on a mission to prevent predictable global catastrophes. We use direct grantmaking and coordination tools such as convenings, conferences, and information sharing systems to advance human security and sustainable peace. In support of our mission, our focus areas include strengthening global systems for pandemic prevention, preventing nuclear war, and promoting better US-Chinese relationships in global fora specifically. Primary Role: The Communications Manager will be responsible for working with subject matter experts across the PAX topic areas and programs to support external communications. This will include working with PAX contractors to manage the process of publication editing, design, layout, and production; working with the PAX web team to update PAX websites at the request of program teams; responding to requests from program teams for specific social media posts or campaigns; and supporting the drafting and submission process for external publications. The Communications Manager will also have input into the program communication strategies and design decisions, as well as opportunities for development within the team.

Salary; Exempt; Full-time 

Compensation: 

The hiring range for this position is 80,000-90,000 annual salary.

Location : 

This position is located at the PAX sapiens central office in Broomfield, CO. The PAX office operates on a hybrid in-office/work from home model with Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office.
