Parent Possible is looking for the right person to lead our Parent Possible Home Visiting Conference. This conference brings together home visitors from across Colorado and beyond and provides training, professional development, and networking opportunities for participants. It is critical for nurturing home visitors as front-line workers while fostering collaboration and growth. The role also coordinates our programmatic trainings for Parents as Teachers, Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters, and Vroom.

Conference Planning and Management

• Plan and manage all aspects of the annual Parent Possible Home Visiting Conference, which was a 2-day event with over 300 participants in 2024

• Recruit and manage volunteer members of the conference committee

• Identify, book, and coordinate with the keynote speaker

• Manage proposal process and scheduling for 60+ workshops 

• Create and manage the timeline, program, and tasks 

• Oversee conference logistics including; negotiate costs and services with vendors, book event space, support room registrations, arrange food and beverage, and coordinate A/V

• Organize and manage event registration and payment

• Manage the event app and registration page through Cvent, as well as general communication and marketing

• Manage and provide updates to internal staff, attendees, presenters, exhibitors and the conference planning committee

• Coordinate and manage event staffing roles for Parent Possible team members

• Support sponsorship, marketing, and fundraising for event growth

General Training & Events Management

• Manage scheduling, logistics, and material preparation for special events, trainings, and presentations

• Create, distribute, and analyze an annual Training Needs Assessment gathering input from program site supervisors, coordinators, and home visitors

• Create and execute an annual training schedule based on site needs, programmatic and evaluation requirements, and results from the Training Needs Assessment

• Distribute bi-weekly training newsletter to PAT and HIPPY home visitors

• Schedule and coordinate events for families enrolled in PAT and HIPPY (as opportunities arise)

• Coordinate trainings for the Enhanced Home Visiting project 

• Work with the PAT director, PAT contract trainers, and Parents as Teachers National Center staff to schedule and coordinate PAT curriculum trainings  

• Track trainings and attendance in Salesforce 

• Assist in coordinating internal staff retreats

• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of events using various analytic and/or survey tools


• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned


• At least two years of recent experience managing a conference or a similar large-scale event 

• Exceptional written communication skills with ability to craft clear, concise content and adapt writing style to various audiences

• Must be computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, must be adept in learning new software programs

• Articulated belief in the mission and programs of Parent Possible

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships, and ability to convey complex requirements while maintaining effective working relationships

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to accuracy and detail 

• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions and competing priorities, independently manage multiple tasks and projects, and manage time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines

• Ability to acquire and maintain sound knowledge and understanding of the organization and its programs, and use that knowledge and understanding to better comprehend all projects and programs 

• High level of professionalism and ability to function effectively under stress


• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• Experience with Cvent Events Management, Alchemer, Canva, Adobe Suite and Salesforce

• Bilingual in English & Spanish
