Membership Coordinator
The Nonprofit Learning Lab is a national nonprofit that trains leaders in the nonprofit sector. The Membership Coordinator assists our Membership Manager in coordinating our membership program, sponsorship program, resource development, and community engagement. The position will have the opportunity to develop strategies for growth and build relationships with our existing nonprofit members from across the country. This position reports to the Membership Manager.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Under the direction of the Membership Manager, works to build and cultivate relationships with current and prospective members
- Provides membership support to Membership Manager including meetings with members, answering questions from members and brainstorming ways to strengthen relationships with our members
- Assists the Membership Manager with managing the membership database through MembershipWorks
- Coordinates and implements member retention strategies and membership campaigns in collaboration with team members
- Works in collaboration with team to implement and update our membership policies and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with data entry, community outreach, and marketing projects related to membership
- Provides coordination, implementation, logistical, tech, and administrative support as needed for our membership events
- Provides general administrative support related to programs, sponsorship and membership
- Assist with coordination, support and logistics related to sponsored events, sponsorship coordination and administrative details related to sponsorship
- Schedules and provides tech support for virtual workshops
- In collaboration with Membership Manager, Operations Director and CEO, support the development of realistic growth goals for membership and implement marketing strategies to achieve these goals
- Works with Membership Manager, Operations Director and CEO to coordinate sponsorship program including outreach, current sponsors, retention, and marketing.
Location: All staff at our organization must be located in or the Denver metro area in one of the following counties: Denver, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Adams or Boulder.

- Ability to learn, utilize and become proficient in using new software programs including MembershipWorks, Wix, GotoWebinar, Google Analytics, Jotforms, & Mailchimp
- Candidates are expected to have a high proficiency using Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) and Zoom
- Working hours can only occur between Monday through Thursday. Working hours can only occur between 8am and 2pm MT.
