Grants & Philanthropy Coordinator

The Grants and Philanthropy Coordinator will support all fund development efforts for the assigned region of Mercy Housing including invoicing, payroll and allocation monitoring, active grant spending and generating data reports and outcomes.

Pay: $24.04-28.85/hour dependent on experience and qualifications
Duties:
- Work with various departments (HR, Payroll, Accounting, and Resident Services) to ensure timely and accurate preparation of invoices.
- Monitor active grant spending by reviewing grant code ledgers, payroll reports, expense reports, mileage, receipts, and any other necessary documentation from multiple teams.
- Support the development and tracking of outcomes for proposals and reports, by accessing all Resident Services data (Salesforce reports, Annual Resident Survey, other assessments and goals).
- Partner with Philanthropy and RS Grant Leads to regularly monitor progress of grant goals and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years in a philanthropy support role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Experience with federal and non-federal grant reporting. Knowledge of grant reporting requirements and grant accounting. Familiarity with Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge and accounting software.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Strategic thinker, results, and solution oriented, flexible, good problem-solver with ability to multi-task. Track and meet deadlines effectively with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of team or committee.
- Self-motivated, self-directed and the ability to manage details and organization of a solid volunteer engagement plan. Extremely well organized.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to accomplish team goals. Travel throughout the region with occasional nights away from home.
- Strong sales, written and verbal communication skills.
