Summary:
Kavod Senior Life is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst (30 hours per week) to support our organization’s data needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, dashboard development, and survey facilitation. You will be responsible for analyzing and visualizing data to deliver insights to various stakeholders. Key skills for this position include effective meeting facilitation, accurate reporting, and the ability to meet deadlines. Additionally, you will be expected to create user-friendly dashboards and lead the internal satisfaction survey process. This is a hybrid role, requiring some on-site presence to attend meetings and collaborate with stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Dashboard Development: Design and produce compelling, user-friendly data dashboards to support diverse audiences including staff, leadership, and external partners. Ensure dashboards effectively communicate key performance metrics and outcomes.
- Facilitation: Lead data-related meetings and presentations, guiding discussions to ensure stakeholders understand and can use data insights to inform decisions. May run focus-groups and provide internal training/support, as needed.
- Internal Satisfaction Survey Process: Manage the annual internal satisfaction survey process from start to finish. This includes designing survey questions, distributing surveys, entering data, analyzing responses, and presenting findings with actionable insights to leadership and staff.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of organizational data to identify trends, track performance, and provide actionable recommendations. Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences. Support grant-specific data evaluation projects.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data collection and reporting needs. Foster a data-driven culture by supporting staff in data literacy and engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and refine data processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and impact measurement. Stay up-to-date with best practices in data visualization, survey design, and nonprofit data management.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Master’s Degree preferred in psychology, statistics, evaluation, sociology, social work, policy and administration, or related field.
- A minimum of two years working directly in research, evaluation and data with demonstrated experience working with dashboards and surveys
- Two to three years of experience working in the social sector.
- Strong communication skills are a must, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences.
- Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Office platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), spreadsheet development and database management.
- Experience working with grants and older adults is a plus.
