Lead Police Based Co-Responder, RTD Based

The Lead Co-Responder, RTD Based will provide early intervention assessment, referrals and clinical case management services to persons in the community that are identified by the Regional Transport Department (RTD) as possibly having mental health issues. They will provide information, education, liaison, and transition services to various networks within Jefferson Center for Mental Health (Jefferson Center) and with federal, state, and community based agencies and resources. They will provide training and on-going education for officers to increase awareness of crisis de-escalation, mental health issues and intervention. They will provide family members with necessary information and education to further assist persons with mental illness and for themselves.

Essential Duties: 

*In addition to assigned clinical responsibilities, this position will assist the leadership of the team, as needed, with “acting supervisory duties” including clinical and administrative supervision, training, orientation of new employees, scheduling, special projects, assuring good communication between teams/team members/clients, referrals, and other duties as assigned.

*The Lead Clinician is expected to continue with his/her regular duties with the addition of the Lead Clinician duties.

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:  

  

 

Salary Grade 52- (Licensed Clinician LCSW, LMFT, LPC) $70,000 – $77,200*
