Development/Marketing Manager

Organization Description: Small, well-established and well-respected Denver health nonprofit with a culture supportive of work-life balance. Organization’s operations budget has more than doubled in the past three years and holds Candid’s platinum rating. Excellent growth potential for individual in this role both monetarily and professionally as the organization continues to grow. Staff team is supportive of each other, team oriented and has positive, supportive relationships with the board of directors.  

Job Description: The Development/Marketing Manager comes to this role with three or more years of experience working in a nonprofit or association setting. The Manager will be responsible for supporting and developing fundraising campaigns, managing social media and website. Ideally, this professional will bring established skills from past work to develop and manage peer-to-peer fundraising, direct mail campaigns, grants, and special events fundraising. We are seeking a strong writer who is comfortable with a wide range of responsibilities.

The matching candidate comes to this position with experience and success in creating and executing effective fundraising campaigns and, ideally, developing professional, creative marketing strategies that have garnered visibility and positive perceptions for their organization.  

Responsibilities:

· Will help to develop and execute effective fundraising campaigns and work with funders in a professional manner 

· Will collaborate with supporters, proposing and securing sponsorships and individual donations 

· Will develop fundraising and marketing materials for the organization

· Will plan and execute social media strategies and post content regularly

· Monitors website traffic and play an active role in campaigns to create heightened engagement with social media and website

· Develop fundraising campaigns geared toward introducing new donors to the organization, such as peer-to-peer fundraising, crowd
funding and expansion of annual fund  

· Will write, coordinate and manage print and electronic projects, including newsletters, appeal letters, web copy and related public-facing communication  

· Functions as staff lead for special events, in collaboration with other staff members

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will be a mature, pro-active, self-directed and organized professional who can multi-task and who possesses the following skills and attributes:  

· Bachelor’s degree  

· Minimum three or more years related prior work experience (this is in addition to any internships) 

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team  

· Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress, others  

· Experience with donor databases  

· Knowledgeable and proficient with social media  

· Creative  

· Troubleshooter 

· Excellent written, verbal and social interaction skills  

· Respectful and professional in all aspects of communication with team members and those outside of the organization
