Hands of the Carpenter (Hands) is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering working, single mothers in the Denver Metro area by providing them with reliable transportation. Through our services, which include vehicle repair, maintenance, and placement, we help single, working mothers overcome transportation challenges that would otherwise prevent them from sustaining employment, attending medical appointments, and achieving self-sufficiency.
Since our founding in 2003, Hands has served the Denver Metro area; growing from one repair shop to operating from three locations and serving all seven counties. Our work is rooted in compassion, community, and empowerment, and we are committed to creating a cycle of independence for single mothers through reliable transportation. Every vehicle we repair, maintain, or place supports these women in building a more stable future for themselves and their families.
