Outpatient Clinician
Griffith Centers is hiring Outpatient Clinician’s for our Substance Use Disorder Program. Clinicians will assess and provide development and treatment for clients experiencing mental health, substance use disorder or co-occurring difficulties,

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, clinical psychology, or a closely related field.
- Current Colorado Credential as Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in good standing or be eligible or willing to obtain Certification or Licensure.
- Experience effectively working with clients that have Substance Use Disorder Diagnosis and/or mental health Diagnosis or both.
- Experience successfully working as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Exceptional time management skills
- Flexibility
- Well-developed documentation skills
- Computer proficiency
- Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours
Physical requirements include the following:
- Frequently stays stationary for prolonged periods of time.
- Frequently moves within and between facilities.
- Frequently exposed to stressful or emergent situations.
- Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment to record health data.
- Constantly communicates with clients and others.
- Occasionally moves equipment and/or materials up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally drives between facilities or for other assigned duties.
Job Duties:
- Conducts screenings and assessments to identify trauma related symptoms and assess their impact in mental health and substance use (co-occuring disorders).
- Provides individual, family and group therapy.
- Provides case management service, coordination with external community agencies, and obtaining additional authorizations for services.
- Keeps accurate, complete and up-to-date records. Notes are completed within 24 hours of service provided.
- Maintains productivity for billable services- average of 30 clients and 25 weekly contact hours (face to face and/or virtual);
- Maintains competency and proficiency with the electronic health record. Ongoing support sessions and training is provided.
- Attend ongoing individual clinical & group supervision.
- Attend weekly team meetings.
