Clinical Program Supervisor


  1. Full Clinical Licensure in the state of Colorado is required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and 3000 + post-degree clinical hours-Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC/MAC) preferred (or willing to obtain).
  2. Liability insurance and DORA registration are required.
  3. Minimum of two years’ experience providing direct services.
  4. Experience w/ substance use clients preferred.
  5. Two years of experience supervising staff or equivalent working experience in a leadership role.
  6. Must pass an extensive background check, comprehensive drug screening, physical exam, have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on behalf of the agency. 
  7. Able to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agency’s clients and staff.   
  8. Advanced computer skills.
  9. Experience working for a non-profit agency.
  10. Experience providing mental health services in the community is preferred.

Job Expectations/Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision & Management
  2. Provide and document at least bi-weekly clinical supervision to clinical therapists, case managers and other providers.
  3. Participate in hiring, training, and ongoing management and accountability of program staff.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of staff orientation and staff development programs.
  5. Be prepared for and actively participate in meetings, staffing, training, ect
  6. Complete all necessary administrative documents promptly as scheduled. 

Ethical and Quality Standards

  1. Knowledgeably administer the clinical aspects of the Griffith Centers, according to standards of quality.
  2. Ensure appropriate practices as outlined by local, state, and federal regulations and best practice standards.
  3. Assist in the development, review, and update of policies, procedures, and forms related to compliance standards. 
  4. Ensure Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Providers and Program Staff have access to necessary policies and procedures, organizational charts, crisis plans, and other relevant documents and materials essential to their job function.
  5. Ensure that full-time Clinical Providers and Program Staff maintain at least the minimum required direct clinical hours or direct visitation hours.
  6. Support with data analysis, and report development.
  7. Available for crisis situations and provides support/consult to clinicians and staff, as necessary.

  8.  Other duties deemed necessary by the administration. 

Essential Functions:

  1. Must be able to walk up and down stairs. 
  2. Lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds.
  3. Stand and sit for extended periods of time.
