Marketing and Communication Manager
Position Overview:
EChO is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our organization’s brand, storytelling, and engagement efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing, public relations, and communication strategies to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and support fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate is a creative and results-driven communicator passionate about our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Branding:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and
communications strategy to enhance the organization’s visibility and
reputation.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all
internal and external communications.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, including
brochures, flyers, reports, and digital assets.
Content Creation & Digital Strategy:
- Manage and create content for the organization’s
website, social media channels, email campaigns, and newsletters.
- Develop compelling storytelling initiatives, including
client impact stories, donor spotlights, and program highlights.
- Monitor website performance and social media
engagement, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Public Relations & Media Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets,
securing press coverage and public recognition for the organization.
- Draft press releases, op-eds, and media pitches to
promote key initiatives and events.
- Serve as a spokesperson when needed and prepare
leadership for media opportunities.
Fundraising & Community Engagement Support:
- Collaborate with the development team to create
compelling donor communications, including annual appeals, campaign
materials, and impact reports.
- Support event marketing and promotion, ensuring strong
attendance and engagement.
- Develop and oversee communications strategies for
community engagement initiatives.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and
communication efforts using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership to
optimize outreach strategies.
Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary to support the organization’s
mission and operations.
