Recruitment Coordinator
The Recruitment Coordinator is a reimagined role on DFI’s small but mighty and dynamic administrative team. We are excited to add a team member who will be exclusively dedicated to recruiting future cohorts of DFI students, thereby expanding DFI’s presence in the community and broader impact in the field. The Recruitment Coordinator will oversee the recruitment, outreach, and admissions process at DFI and will be responsible for meeting or exceeding annual student recruitment targets.
Annual and ongoing responsibilities of the Recruitment Coordinator are as follows:
Summary: meet or exceed annual student recruitment targets through targeted marketing, outreach, storytelling, and community partnerships.
- MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS:
- Build and execute a comprehensive recruitment and marketing plan
- Provide all written copy for social media manager and website
- Provide ongoing feedback on social media posts, marketing emails, promotional materials, etc ensuring brand and mission alignment, effective storytelling, and increased engagement
- Make recommendations on budget allocation to professionalize and elevate DFI’s presence at field fairs, community events, and conferences
NETWORK AND COALITION BUILDING:
- Iterate upon existing recruitment volunteer program that taps into DFI’s alumni network with the aim of ultimately building more ambassadors of DFI’s program and services
- Expand DFI’s partnerships and networks
- Coordinate and lead ~monthly informational sessions in a hybrid format for interested students
- Schedule individual and group/team meetings with existing and new partner organizations and interested community members
- ADMISSIONS: Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries from prospective students related to the admissions process
- Respond within 12-24 hours to all admissions inquiries
- Assist in the implementation of strategic partnerships and recruitment of students, including attending internship fairs, holding DFI Information sessions, and working directly with schools and agencies
- Organize, schedule, and lead 2-3 final interview days each year
- Organize and manage the recruitment volunteer team
- Maintain and build recruitment pipeline; manage contact lists
- Review all application forms and processes on an annual basis to identify any opportunities for improvements, automation, etc.
