Seasonal Part-time Environmental Educator

Do you LOVE being outside, working with children, and exploring the natural world? Do you have an interest in birds? Join our team for the spring bird banding programs, where we take groups of elementary students each day to visit our ponds, forests, and bird banding station. We are looking for high energy, upbeat, compassionate educators to join us as we connect kids with nature.

Part-time. 2-4 days per week, Monday – Friday, 4-6 hours per day, between the hours of 8am-2pm. Schedule will be provided in advance.

Season: Thursday, April 24 – Friday, May 30. Also includes paid training on either April 8 or April 9.

Location: Denver Audubon Kingery Nature Center in Chatfield State Park

Areas of Responsibility

The part-time, seasonal Environmental Educator will teach environmental education programs outdoors. Programs will focus on pond exploration, bird adaptations, nest building, and taking groups to visit the bird banding station.
