Project Manager
Position Summary
This position provides assessment, advising and project implementation planning and management for energy efficiency and building electrification projects. They will provide internal and external guidance on best practices for improving building efficiency through energy management and electrification in residential, commercial, and multi-family properties. Project management of program initiatives will be required as needed.

- Energy Assessments and Advising:
- Perform Level 2 Energy Assessments and generate reports.
- Provide energy advising for buildings, projects and relationships.
- Provide advising services for benchmarking and Building Performance Standard (BPS) clients.
- Project management:
- Perform outreach, develop, coordinate, and implement energy efficiency and electrification projects in residential, commercial, and multifamily properties.
- Determine and define project and scope and objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules as needed.
- Manage external partners, contractors, and consultants as needed.
- Provide feedback on budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs in order to meet budget as required.
- Represent CORE internally and externally as a subject matter expert in energy efficiency and building electrification best practices.
- Support Building Performance Hub development and implementation.
- Support community engagement opportunities to promote programmatic work.
- Support other CORE staff on designing, implementing, managing, tracking, reporting, and evaluating other programs and projects, as assigned.

- Advanced program management skills.
- Intermediate Salesforce skills pertaining to database management, data entry, flows, process builders, report building, program management, and project management.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Intermediate knowledge of how energy is used in buildings. Intermediate knowledge of how energy use in buildings contributes to community greenhouse gas emissions. Passion for these areas.
- Experience coordinating with government and utility staff, property managers, building managers, regional programmatic partners, and technical experts.
- Experience designing and managing energy efficiency, building improvement, and data-centric programs.
- Experience collecting, entering, and evaluating energy use data.

- Valid Colorado State driver’s license and ability to be insured.
Required:
- At least one of the following:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) and minimum 5 years of experience related to building electrification and energy efficiency.
- MS in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience related to building electrification and energy efficiency.
- BS in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, and a minimum of 6 years of experience related to building electrification and energy efficiency.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with a minimum of 7 years of experience in building electrification and energy efficiency.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience related to construction project management.

Language Ability:
Read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, agencies, or members of the business community. Write speeches and articles for publication.
Mathematical Ability:
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
Understanding of basic office applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
