Job Title: Program Training Manager
Reports to: Senior Director of Homelessness Programs
Locations: Denver
Compensation: $60,000-65,000; as well as generous employee Benefits Package including 401k
matching; 100% employer-paid premiums for Health, Dental, and Vision; 3 weeks of vacation/sick time, plus paid holidays; paid parental leave
Colorado Village Collaborative is seeking a Program Training Manager who will support the alternative sheltering and supportive services programs to deliver, maintain, and track workforce competencies and adherence to the organizational mission and values. This position will assist with delivering a wide range of employee learning programming across multiple sites and for diverse audiences. The Program Training Manager will support onboarding new program staff to ensure high-quality services are being delivered that maximize collaboration, workforce performance, community member stability, and the success of the organization’s programs.
Schedule / Hours
* 40 hrs/wk
* Time will be spent in organizational meetings, meeting with external partners and coalitions, meeting with MC, SOS and THV employees
Key Area # 1- Program Training Management
* Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills core training modules in alignment with CVC Core Values in collaboration with HR and Senior Managers.
* Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with agency leadership.
* Maintains collaboration with Tiny Home Village, Safe Outdoor Space, Micro-community, and Supportive Services programs to ensure department training maximizes program, shelter, and supportive services performance expectations.
* Works one-on-one with new workforce members to develop an understanding of program benefits and dimensions of recovery, along with how to support the resilience of a Lived Expertise workforce.
* Works collaboratively with Site Managers, Site Coordinators, Peer Supporters, and Case Managers to develop and to ensure effective orientation of new community members.
* Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
* Maintains current knowledge of mandatory trainings and provides support to ensure content is effectively integrated into department operations.
* Travels to multiple locations to provide training and client services.
Key Area #2 – Evaluation of Opportunities
* Keep abreast of current trends in homelessness and housing workforce competencies
* Collaborate with the Supportive Services program, Peer Support, and Case Management departments for the development of internal workforce training programs
* Evaluate the potential of external Workforce Development possibilities for the Lived Expertise Workforce
Key Area #3 – Data Collection and Documentation
* Provides expertise in database and software usage for organizational records.
* Oversees the maintenance of confidentiality of all client information.
* Ensures all necessary documentation including HMIS is completed in a timely manner.
* Completes all required forms and reports in a complete and timely manner.
Key Area #4 Professionalism and Teamwork
* Coordinates interdepartmental meetings to ensure training competencies
* Attends required meetings and regular supervision, focusing on the key areas above.
* Attends and participates in formal and informal staff meetings and addresses client and program issues.
* Provides excellent internal and external customer service and communicates in a professional, timely, and effective manner.
* Actively participates, collaborates, and contributes to the multidisciplinary team to promote a team culture in which each client’s point of view, experiences, and preferences are recognized, understood and respected, and in which client self-determination and decision-making in service planning are maximized and supported.

Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree with Training and Development concentration/training preferred; experience can be considered in lieu of degree
* Prior experience in Training roles, ideally 4-5 years
*Prior experience working with a Non-profit preferred
* Experience supervising a team is a plus
