Position Title: Programs & Outreach Coordinator
Organization: Latinx Therapist Project CO
Location: Denver, CO
Type/Duration: Full-time, hourly, 40 hours/week, nonexempt, Hybrid work schedule. In person attendance 3 days a week in office (Denver) and attending in person events as needed.
Reports To: Executive Director
About us: Latinx Therapist Project- CO (LTP), a project under Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC), is dedicated to increasing mental care providers serving the Latinx Spanish speaking Denver community and empowering our next generation of Latinx Therapist. We seek to accomplish this through variety of initiatives that include: recruitment, therapy specialty education, scholarships, graduate program directory, and Latinx therapist job directory.
Job Summary: The Program & Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in supporting administrative tasks, coordinating program tasks, while also being a key connector between the organization and the community. This person will provide administrative support, help coordinate events and programs, and lead outreach and engagement efforts across schools, colleges, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operations Support (20%)
- Manage organizational calendar, scheduling, and meeting logistics
- Managing emails and responding to general inquiries
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics
- Organizing and maintaining digital files (Google Drive, Dropbox)
- Updating and maintaining a CRM or contact list
- Data entry and tracking key organizational metrics
- Assist with grant tracking and reporting
- Assisting with identifying grant opportunities
- Assisting with keeping track of grant deadlines
- Coordinating donor acknowledgments and thank-you notes
- Carrying out tasks assigned by Executive Director
Program Support & Coordination (30%)
- Coordinate logistics for programs, events, and workshops
- Outreaching students, community partners, or guest speakers
- Gathering feedback from participants to inform program improvements
- Creating and organizing resource materials for program participants
- Conduct educational presentations on mental health career pathways
Outreach & Engagement (35%)
- Supporting recruitment efforts for programs or events
- Assisting with outreach to universities, colleges
- Represent the organization at community events, school visits, and fairsBuild & maintain relationships with community partners
- Support recruitment for programs, mentorship, and events
- Assist with managing social media accounts (creating posts, responding to comments)
- Writing and scheduling email newsletters
- Updating website content (blog posts, event pages, program info)
- Designing simple graphics using Canva for promotional materials
- Writing impact stories or testimonials to showcase program success
- Helping with sponsorship outreach for events and programs
Event Planning & Coordination (15%)
- Managing event registrations and attendee lists
- Preparing and distributing materials for virtual or in-person events
- Securing speakers, panelists, or community partners for events
- Coordinating logistics for workshops or career pathway presentations
- Assisting with event planning for fundraising initiatives
- Helping with technical setup for virtual meetings or webinars

Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in nonprofit work, community outreach, event planning, or program coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in community outreach or a related field is preferred.
- Passionate about mental health and supporting the Latinx community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree experience can substitute for degree
- 2 + years of experience in nonprofit work, community outreach, event planning, or program coordination
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with basic tech tools (Google Workspace, Canva, email marketing platforms, social media)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once
- Passion for mental health equity and supporting Latino/a/x communities
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
- Occasional evening or weekend work required (with notice)
