interests, and providing essential educational and professional development opportunities. Our mission is to equip counties to effectively address the issues impacting their communities.

CCI’s legislative team advocates on behalf of counties during and after Colorado’s legislative session, ensuring that county interests are well-represented. Our diverse policy work encompasses a wide range of critical areas, including affordable housing, behavioral health, criminal justice, elections, public health, access to public benefits and safety net services, transportation, land use regulation, taxation, broadband, and tourism. We also offer significant educational and professional development opportunities to our members, which include over 200 elected countycommissioners who are, at their core, public servants.
