Academy Administrator

Colorado Ballet Company is a Denver-based non-profit organization celebrating 62 years of excellence. Colorado Ballet’s mission is to present exceptional classical ballet and contemporary dance through performances, training, education and community engagement while inspiring and growing an increasingly diverse audience base. Under the direction of Artistic Director Gil Boggs, Colorado Ballet presents more than 50 performances annually to sold-out audiences in the 2,080-seat Ellie Caulkins Opera House. 

The Raydean Acevedo Colorado Ballet Academy serves over 1,200 students each year, from toddlers to seniors. Colorado Ballet’s Education and Community Engagement programming engages with students, teachers, families, people with disabilities, and lifelong learners, making more than 35,000 contacts in 300 schools and organizations annually.

Position Overview

The Academy Administrator manages daily operations, including student registration and payment processing. They work closely with the Academy team to set goals for success and growth. The position requires in-person presence, with workdays from Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 am-6:30 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, with flexibility during performances. 

Key Duties and Functions

· Reception for students, families, teachers, guests, and vendors of Colorado Ballet 

· Register students for classes and process payments 

· Oversight of website content, calendar, social media posts, and communications in collaboration with the Colorado Ballet Marketing Team 

· Creation of performance programs, posters, invites, calendars, and flyers to highlight and promote Academy events and educational programs 

· Assistance with the Summer Intensive and Pre-Professional Division audition process, registration, payments, communications, performance organization, student support, and confirming schedules for teachers 

· Management of CBA’s Youth America Grand Prix program 

· Point person and communications for children in Company productions 

· Creation of registrations, waivers, policies, handbooks, and processes for Academy programs 

· Assistance in maintaining front desk and studio scheduling for Academy, audition rentals, including contracts and payments, and studio use for Colorado Ballet departments 

Position Requirements  

· Minimum of two years of general office experience  

· History of providing customer service in person, over the phone, and via email 

· Possesses collaborative and leadership qualities 

· Strong organizational skills, including experience with confidential and detailed recordkeeping 

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Canva is preferred Proven experience working with a customer database; experience with Tessitura or Data 4 Artists systems will have priority consideration
