This position serves as the Program Manager for Christ Clinic. Principal responsibilities include operations; managing of staff, volunteers, and resources; facilitating staff and patient education experiences, and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations. The role establishes quality improvement efforts to support the delivery of patient and family focused care and knowledge-based decision making as the framework for excellent care. The Program Manager facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among clinic staff and volunteers regarding identification, planning, and provision of high quality, cost-effective care.
Programming:
· Oversee the initial and re-credentialing processes for all Medical Staff in a timely manner to initiate service efficiently and avoid lapses in
credentialing/coverage
· Responsible for monthly metrics and quarterly dashboard in collaboration with Executive Director
· Responsible for coordinating Board reports with Medical Director for monthly agenda Overseeing Business Administrator’s performance of program-related tasks
· Facilitate quarterly meetings for the Continuous Quality Improvement Team
Clinic Supervision:
· Supervise set up and take down for each clinic according to established protocols
· Take inventory and order supplies of medical and non-medical necessities
· Assume responsibility for updating information in patient logs and uploading records into
· database for patients seen each clinic session and correlate with future schedules
· Adjust individual volunteer schedules when necessary prior to individual clinic sessions, sometimes on very short notice
· Establish, maintain and disseminate changes to volunteer protocols
· Manage outside records for established patients to include notes from specialty referrals made by Christ Clinic providers and Emergency Room visits
· Follow through on special projects as determined by the Executive Director
Volunteer Coordination:
· Work to recruit, orient and retain volunteers
· Arrange for a complete team to be present at each clinic accounting for strengths and talents of the individual volunteers when creating schedules
· Oversee volunteer training for OSHA/HIPAA for initial and annual compliance
· Participate in planning and arrangements for annual volunteer inservice(s)
