Job Description 

Gates Camp is owned and operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD). Gates Camp opened in 1974 and is located west of Boulder, Colorado. Campers range in age from 6 to 18 years and are primarily from communities in the Metro Denver area. Gates Camp offers traditional camp activities that include archery, kayaking, handicrafts, nature games, hiking, team-building, and campfire programs.

For Summer 2025, Gates Camp will operate as a day camp most Tuesdays through Thursdays with 1 Friday in June (date TBD) and 1 Friday in July (date TBD)

The On-Site Healthcare Professional will be responsible for treating illnesses and injuries and determining when outside medical care is required. The successful candidate will work with Boys & Girls Club members, Activity Leaders, Clubs Staff, Cook, and parents (as needed) to address health needs.

The On-Site Healthcare Professional will at times provide instruction to Campers about how to proactively promote their personal health and well-being (e.g. hydration, protection from the sun, proper nutrition, and asking for help) and will support professional development opportunities for Staff.
