Controller

 Controller Position 

arc Thrift Stores currently has a Controller position for a dynamic
mission-based retailer.  

arc Thrift Stores is Colorado’s largest non-profit and
social enterprise, with nearly 2,000 employees, 34 stores, and a large
warehousing operation.   

Controller position supports and manages the
finance/accounting departments. Controller
position advises the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Staff on financial and
business issues.  

Core
Responsibilities 

· Supervision
of the Accounting Team 

· Cash
Management & Monitoring 

· General
Ledger Oversight-do select entries, monitor and review 

· AP
Review 

· Payroll
Monitoring & monthly accrual 

· Benefits
Reconciliation  

· Lease
Tracking 

· Month
End Process Monitoring of JEs, Accruals, and overall deadlines 

· FP&A
activities 

Support the annual budget process 

On-going ad hoc analysis and
reporting 

· Seasonal
management and schedule delivery for: 

Financial Statement Audit 

401k Audit 

990 Preparation 

Work Comp Audit 

· Various
Project assignments as needed 

Experience &
Education  

• Experience in managing
  teams 

· 7+
years’ experience in Accounting 

· Comfort
with engaging in budgeting and analysis work  

· CMA/CPA
helpful but not required 

· Accounting/Finance
degree or similar education preferred

Pay Range: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00
