Salary Range: $21-23/hour

Position Type: Full Time, Exempt

Job Location: Brighton, Almost Home, Inc. main office

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, Wednesdays 8:30 AM-6:30 PM and Fridays 8:30 AM-2:30 PM. Flexible schedule.

At Almost Home, we prevent and confront homelessness in Adams, Broomfield and Weld County through our Emergency Assistance Programs. Each of our programs are designed to make homelessness rare, brief or one-time. Our targeted services help members of our community develop skills and obtain the resources to reach long-term self-sufficiency. Job Summary

The Housing Liaison is responsible for supporting the Rapid Re-Housing department and other Almost Home programs in securing and maintaining permanent housing for program participants. The Housing Liaison will work directly with the Rapid Re-Housing Coordinator and regional Coordinated Entry team to identify, enroll, and assess households for Rapid Re-Housing and other Almost Home services. The Housing Liaison will manage a caseload of households providing housing search, lease up, and move-in assistance. Additionally, the Housing Liaison will work to strengthen landlord relationships and develop a move-in ready housing network.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide re-housing support and assistance to all enrolled households with a focus on Rapid Re-Housing participants;

• Focuses on outreaching landlords and cultivating relationships with program participants during the move in process;

• Coordinate move-in support with program participants and case managers (financial support, resources, tenant education, landlord communications);

• Ensures ongoing communication with landlords and collaborative partners throughout the entirety of all leases;

• Enter, manage and analyze landlord property data as well as maintain relevant forms and data systems;

• Develop housing pool and maintain relationships and ongoing communication with landlord partners;

• Organize and assist with outreach to community programs, business owners, realtors, landlords, housing developers and other service providers to identify new and existing opportunities and build strong relationships to better assist clients in accessing housing resources, supportive services, and move-in opportunities;

• Facilitate landlord networking groups and events;

• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable combination of education/work related experience required, individuals with lived experience are encouraged to apply.

• Experience in property management, real estate, or commissioned sales is useful. Base knowledge of housing subsidies, Medicaid, housing services and housing resources available in Colorado is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with many audiences, including landlords, property managers, housing providers, industry professionals, program participants and community leaders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

• Proficient in the following computer applications–Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to network and build relationships; locate and develop housing resource contacts.

• Ability to act as a liaison between the participant and housing/service providers

• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Effectively troubleshoot and solve problems when they arise.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent travel across Almost Home’s three county service area (Broomfield, Adams, Weld) is require. Must have working and reliable vehicle with a valid Colorado driver’s license and a clean driving record.
