We are seeking dynamic individuals to lead conversations, share knowledge, and foster growth at our events and programs. We strongly encourage active membership with the Colorado Nonprofit Association. There are two categories we need speakers for: Connecting Colorado Conferences and year-round educational programming.
There are four Connecting Colorado Conferences hosted across the state with the goal of bringing dynamic speakers and solutions to communities across the state. Topics should reflect the foundational elements found in the Colorado Nonprofit publication ‘Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence’.

Denver Colorado, Monday October 20, 2025 in downtown Denver
Lead hands-on workshops or skill-building sessions tailored to nonprofit professionals. Moderate or facilitate small-group discussions that encourage peer-to-peer learning and collaboration. Help drive impact by sharing strategies, insights, and stories that empower others to make a difference.

What happens after I submit a proposal?
Proposals will be evaluated by our Programming Team which will review a criteria including: relevance to specific topics and target audience, clarity within the proposed session, expertise and experience in the nonprofit sector, and potential for audience engagement. Our team will directly reach out with next steps. RFPs are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Do I have to be a member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association in order to be able to present?

What is ‘Principles & Practices for Nonprofit Excellence in Colorado‘?
Every four years, the Colorado Nonprofit Association publishes Principles & Practices for Nonprofit Excellence in Colorado, which is seen as one of the top resources for nonprofits across the state. It is a guide for nonprofits to meet high standards of transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency. Topics include: Advocacy, Communications/Marketing, DEAI, Evaluation, Financial Management, Fund Development, Governance, Human Resource, Information Technology, Leadership, and Strategic Planning.
